My best friend asked me what I would do if my daughter turned out to be gay....i told him, "It changes nothing....i would love her anyway. He stared at incredulously and never said a word. I jettisoned my best friend after that.
We are definitely a good option, but some people genuinely believe in God and Jesus. And that is ok in our eyes. For most of us our goal isn't to end religion, it's to make sure all are treated equally.
We definitely welcome anyone who shares our beliefs though!

Every book is a chance to see the beauty of this world and an opportunity to see others perspectives.
I'm sorry you have become so cold and intransigent.
I have read the bible, septuagint, and many other related historical texts many times. I am extremely passionate about ancient history.
And yet not give a damn about all the awful things which happen in this world?
You don't need a building to know God.
You don't need someone else to tell you how to find God.
Just as "the groove is in your heart", so is God.
We definitely welcome anyone who shares our beliefs though!
Amen!
