That would also explain the extreme ban on abortion even for sex crimes and incest. Where is the equality in that. I’m sorry but I’m just gona say it. Christians in the USA are no different than the Taliban! If they were Christian at all there would be no laws against homelessness or feeding them.

The bible was written in the context of the times. We do not share that context so it is easy to misinterpret the meaning of statements and actions. The new testament has many more statements that the women is to be subservient to the husband, than it does extolling their virtues, unfortunately
