Agree! There’s always been a real danger, too, in the people he surrounds himself with, or who have ingratiated themselves to him, which gives them leverage and an outsized role in governing. I’m thinking of Miller, Bannon, Vought, for starters. They are, and always have been, very dangerous people.

The democracy experiment laid out by our founding fathers didn’t take into consideration the steep decline in common sense & critical thinking that has overtaken our electorate. I’m not sure they ever imagined the hordes of people who don’t even register to vote or even vote once the have either.
