For context, it's a patient who tells me I'm wrong 100 times a day yet keeps asking questions. I have been purposely not interacting with them this shift.

If only some of the tools we use to help train animals could be used to train people out of contrary behavior. Clicker and spray bottle. Since apparently this kid's parent's didn't parent.
I have noticed a lot of the kids nowadays are contrary to adults. I honestly don't think I did that. But, I did get slapped for talking back. Which is also not appropriate either. Unless I'm just one of those grumpy 'get off my lawn" old people now. Which I know I'm not.
I don't have infinite patience. And it was 6 hours of this bullshit yesterday. And started again today. Then I just didn't give in to her questions or stopped responding.
omg this sent a shiver down my spine from getting flashbacks of having patients like this 😭😭😭 i’m so sorry you’re going through that i hope it gets better!! :(
God I've had one person similar that would always ask me questions then tell me I'm wrong. Got to the point when they asked me something and I said "why are you asking me? Clearly I'm always wrong." Sorry babes...people are horrible 🫠
This morning she took her Klonopin and chewed them. And I got on her case about it. She then told me the other nurse told her too. I told her there was no way another nurse would tell you to chew a tablet meant to be taken "by mouth". It's always the fucking 20yos.
The way the younger generation talks to people now....my parents would've beaten me. Not that it's right but geez. Man what a headache. My kindergarteners seem way more well behaved but at least they have an excuse since they're still learning 😅😅
