I’m not a movie remake hater but there are two movies that should never ever be touched, The NeverEnding Story and The Goonies. It’s impossible to make better versions of them and nobody wants to see CGI and AI versions of them either, nobody ✨

Completely agree. Same goes for Back to the Future, The Last Starfighter, Explorers. Truthfully, no movie should be remade. I am so sick of Hollywood recycling great movies. Or making live action movies from animated movies (looking at you Disney).
I don’t hate remakes either but I feel this way about Mrs. Doubtfire. It was on tv the other night and I was just laughing away. Robin Williams is irreplaceable.
