Local rescues are often volunteer based (no salaries) and really need your support also. Your donations buy food, medicine and help spay/neuter so we can keep saving animals! 🐕🐈♥️

I give to the aspca to influence national legislation and other things. I give to my local shelter to support locally. This post has been traveling around a while and the poster is a marketing guy. There is some sort of underlying agenda, prob dark money factory farms.

I totally agree. I try to convince people to use their money to help small rescues. Wayside Waifs is an example where I live, they won't except dogs from the small shelters that are full, but go out of state to get purebred dogs that will make their shelter money. Sickens me.

Monday will be our 3 month anniversary with our little guy. He was actually scheduled to be euthanized & our local SPCA saved him. He has had a lot of medical issues, but he is finally getting past that. He’s 10 & an absolute joy.

This is the first time I disagree with you. Read “Uncharitable” and learn about how non profit function. The ASPCA brought in huge amounts of money last year because that man and his team work hard to get people interested in donating.
