I also remember Bandai Ent pushing “First Gundam,” but mostly limited to their press materials. And I only remember *that* because I remember people on forums being annoyed by the “First” moniker

So I found this article from December 2000, which doesn’t say “First.” I’d still *swear* I remember fan griping about the term, though 🤷
