what sounds insane for other people is a dream for photographers - nice caption and even nicer photo! that very place always reminds me of a bit of a disappointment however. during the three days I was there with such a shot in mind the weather was too bad to even see Vestrahorn. need to go back too

That’s landscape photography in a nutshell, you can plan all you like to get good conditions and then Mother Nature does her own thing!! I was recently in the Dolomites hoping for clouds and autumn trees, but autumn came early and there absolutely no clouds!! Maybe next year 😅

Yes to both! The photograph is excellent and the cup of Yorkshire gold tea resonates! I’m approaching the end of the giant year long supply (bought in March so my year is a bit shorter than their marketing estimates) so a sad day approaching!

It was such a nice sunrise! The morning after, there was some nice frost on the dunes too which really brought out the patterns in the sand. Such an amazing place with loads of composition opportunities
