Basically all I need to pack now is my books (only a small bookshelf), my kitchen crockery, and my linen. I've got to try get as much as I can in this load so that hopefully I will only need to do one more load after that, when I actually leave. But I just have so much stuff 😬

The other boxes mostly have books in them tho so it's not exactly a great idea to repack those into bigger boxes either.. hmm..

Omg yea gosh sorry I am so bad at keeping up! I am heading back to feilding since I still haven't found any work, but I'll still have a couple of weeks in wellington, just taking most of my stuff tomorrow since my dad could come down with his big vehicular.

All the best. We moved 4 weeks ago and it took at least 2 weeks to move ourselves after packing for weeks beforehand. Still unpacking and sorting. It's a huge job and we're NEVER moving again after this. 🏠

My dad is coming to help me with his ute and his trailer tomorrow. And if he arrives and I am not packed he will be very grumpy with me. But I am so tired 😭

Tip: Make your bed as soon as you put it in the bedroom. You'll appreciate being able to fall straight into bed after an exhausting day. Also, pack lots of medium sized boxes that you can easily move and store, rather than big ones that are too heavy and get in the way.

Thankfully I'm moving home and there's a bed already there for me. My bed will be being jettisoned. But yes, have to do something about these big boxes. They'll probably be useful to throw the last few things in that I definitely haven't forgotten to pack in as we go and then they won't get too full

Funnily enough … our packing towards the end became more like “I think there’s room to shove this behind the driver’s seat” and “I’ll remember I put that random thing in that unrelated box”. 😆

That's my usual style of packing! I've been moving around the same city for 10 years and just shove stuff in whatever and wherever it fits. And do multiple trips in my little corolla, slowly over days or weeks. But because I'm moving up the country I have to be a bit more organised, it's hard work!
