Thank god. I remember seeing a special on how convoluted the repair process was with Taylor which is why most locations just gave up on using them.

I'd highly recommend looking into this story more, but basically Taylor provided McDonald's franchises with inferior ice cream machines that only their guys could work on due to an intentionally hard to understand interface. Mcdonald's was fully aware of this and was getting paid on the back end.

Having worked at McDs like 15 years ago, I had no idea they weren't allowed to do that. Our manager just always went in with a screwdriver and a prayer when it broke down lol
