Hmmmm, I question it being set prior to Alien…It has to feature the classic xenomorph (they surely wouldn’t make that mistake) but how will they explain it being on earth then and have it still fit in with the existing story?

Well they were very organized, and then it started with a few towns falling then as the hive grew, cities fell under the queen mother. Eventually xenomorphs grew resistance to extreme Temps and crossed the sea, humans never stood a chance. And it all started with an egg
