The universal movie tour has a Mummy attraction. You go in this tunnel thing, and it plays sound effects of the beetles while shooting you with air to scare you. I was a kid and had just seen the movie. It got the people on the tram good lol

I believe it’ll probably be in the vein of the Leigh Whannell films, as the idea of making lower budget horror movies for most of the universal monsters was stablished from the beginning. Also, Cronin has only made horror movies so I’m guessing that’s where it’s headed

I'm unironically interested. The Fraser films are the most recognizable, but they weren't the first. I think The Mummy has potential, and I love that Universal is just letting directors run wild after learning from the mistakes of their "Dark Universe" regarding horror icons.
