Honestly not interested in this film. I liked Cavill as Superman, didn’t think the role should’ve been recasted. There were things I didn’t like about the Snyder films. However, I watched the new Batman and if the Superman film is as long and boring as Batman, I don’t see any new films as upgrades

Let’s normalize only 1 trailer being released for film and tv. We don’t need 3 2 minute long trailers. Give us a taste and then let’s go experience it with low expectations. That’s what I do anyway.

But 1 trailer is also not at all enough, especially for marketing.

They need to show stuff for the movie to succeed. If they drop 1 trailer, and then only do posters (since I'm assuming you're also against TV spots), people will just forget the movie is even releasing.

I wouldn't say low expectations, more preferably reasonable expectations. Like just don't make it out like it's gonna be the greatest of all time and set the stage, like a little tease of what we're in for.

I really hope this ends up being good, the trailer so far looked awesome if all those scenes are from the beginning of the film does that mean they are going to skip his origin story and go directly into him being superman? Personally I wouldn’t mind to much since we are all familiar with the story

So taking a guess then:
The movie likely opens up with a kaiju attack that Superman stops. That causes some controversy when he doesn't show up to stop a war in Boravia, which Gorilla Grodd partially instigated. Despite this, Superman still has support from native Boravians, pissing off Lex.
