When I was having this much issue it turned out the pen was the problem. Something broke in it that made it so the nib would go deeper than before and messing up the way it works
The real problem is that I can't tell whether it's the pen that's broken or the tablet itself because it's so inconsistent. The nib feels like it's catching at the right point, but if I wanted to replace the pen alone it's like $25 vs buying a whole new replacement tablet for like $45
Dealing with pen calibration myself, getting a new labtop is messing with the resolution to tablet ratio or something. Trying to figure out how to fix it is becoming a real pain.
