I do feel like some observations are more astute like tech billionaires invading the government and firing everyone from scientific branches of government etc
The massive bipartisan defensive reaction to the film, complaining about its direct and scolding tone, was just pure denial. The further we head into environmental collapse, crashing capitalism and populism, all everyone will say is 'why weren't we just more direct?'
Yeah I definitely think a lot of don’t look up rings true to today and I love the cathartic ending. I just think the main characters unfortunately fall flat - though I like Lawrence’s portrayal I think di caprios whole thing doesn’t work that well
