i caught myself wondering about the same last month but most of my online presence as a furry at least rn is about my nsfw thoughts and stuff so it wouldnt make sense to split things yet

I ended up splitting spicy into its own account, but it's a personal choice. More about me avoiding spicy interactions when they're unwanted in my case

May I ask what part of this issue isn’t handled by proper content filtering and tagging on your part, along with custom feeds?

Is the problem that people don’t have proper experiences set up, and the burden is being placed on you to moderate yourself, or is there something I am missing?

i do tag stuff as suggestive using the bsky tools, but i have no idea what other's are doing, or heck, if i should be doing more tagging, and even to an extent if folks looking for other suggestive content might not be looking for spicy cliff

As someone who is here more for the spicy stuff, I am enjoying the not spicy stuff as well. Plus I think it's sort of hot to know more of the person who you're thirsting over?
(Though I would mind either a feed or dedicated tag for your thirstier posts).
