It’s been an odd week. My wife came back after 7 months living with another man, just in time to see the 1st episode of the final part of Hilary Mantel’s Wolf Hall. Then my neighbour offered to buy my house, out of the blue, but quite timely and not necessarily a bad option. I’ve got my eye on this finca in the mountains near Granada. It needs some work, but don’t they all? I worry that the dog would miss her friends. I worry about many things. #PoetsOnBluesky

Good news at last! I finally (self) published a poetry pamphlet or chapbook as they say stateside. It’s called ‘Melancholia I have known’. I gave a copy to my wife but I see she’s left it on the kitchen table. Probably for the best as I had intended to sign it first. Maybe next time. #PoetsOnBluesky
