Day 14 on my favourite TV shows of all time list & No 12 in the 1st of a 2 punch Irish combination to lighten the mood
I watched my first IT Crowd way back when. I didn’t get it
Then, years later, I tried again. And oh my God
I wish BlueSky had a longer word count! Suffice it to say, it’s amazing

Almost!!
Having remembered at the…erm… 21st hour, I’m going to announce this one with just a single quote:
“These are small. But the one’s out there are far away.”
A moment of genius in a show full of them!
No 11: Father Ted
But I forgot to post it here!
Rectifying it now with little explanation, but thankfully this entry doesn’t need any! Because this entry is one of a kind!
No 10? Colombo!
20 years ago this would’ve been vying for 1st, but going 2 decades too long has hit its legacy
That said, at its best (seasons 3 to 12) there was nothing on TV as brilliant as my No 9: The Simpsons
This one was a toss-up with yesterday’s & you’ll understand why. It never hit quite the heights of The Simpsons but even now - after 26 seasons - it still has moments of genius, so wins on longevity.
No 8 is…South Park!
The single finest British TV ever made, with the ATG English character: the anti-indomitable Arthur Daley
Minder was the PERFECT depiction of the West London in which I grew up
Just brilliant
And AT No 6, we’ve got the 1st of 3 westerns to come. And this 1 is the very best MODERN western
No 6 is the absolutely phenomenal Justified
