This is basic, effective healthcare.
People who transition overwhelmingly report improved well-being, better mental health, and greater life satisfaction.
The science is clear.
But the system isn’t built to support that success.
It involves long waitlists, insurance denials, and laws written by people who don’t understand the care and don’t care to.
This is the result of stigma—not science.
Advancements in hormone therapy, prosthetics, and reconstructive surgery are helping people recovering from cancer, people navigating menopause, disabled people, and more.
We understand how gender is experienced—not as a fixed binary, but as a spectrum of roles, expectations, and identities.
That perspective is valuable in a society that’s constantly debating what gender means.
It’s a success story.
It’s something we should invest in—not just for trans people, but for everyone.
