I should also mention, if I wasn't so isolated from them right now, I wouldn't be using it at all. It's a scammer's paradise. I report them if I see them, and Facebook has never taken action.

Check this ad out that I just now saw. It's for PlayStation 5 controller mods. Now I made selections based on the Dualsense Edge which is a competitive controller by Sony themselves. I'd be paying more for a modded controller that has no trigger sensitivity and deadzone.

These modder companies come and go so much and are such rip-offs when you can buy professionally crafted controllers. If I want to really shell out for a custom competition controller I'd just buy a SCUF instead of some rando in a Facebook ad.

yeah I've had to teach relatives - don't click through their links and buy anything because it's really a scammer's marketplace

there's also romance and bitcoin scammers, people who pose as content creators and ask them to pay for services - it's insanity

There was one product on Facebook that I would legitimately recommend because it's actually good, Paleblue. They're rechargeable batteries that are lightweight and recharge via USB-C, they don't drain as fast as other rechargeables and charge quickly. They're also smaller than regular rechargeables.

I'm on there and it's good at keeping me in my bubble. When I go out of it though, it still doesn't quite rise to the level of Twitter. Just my personal experience, ofc.

Yeah I'm only still on Facebook to keep in contact with old friends but really if not for that I'd delete my account. I stick to the Feeds page and it keeps me free from seeing the dregs of the site but...damn I miss when it was just people posting about Farmville.
