And this is why a lot of authors go independent and publish their own shit. Like I don't want my writing going to train some AI so it can write just like me. How about no? It's like they're trying to force AI on writers at this point.

HarperCollins' sibling company, Dow Jones, already licensed OpenAI to train their model on Wall Street Journal content; wouldn't be a stretch to presume NewsCorp pushed a similar deal on HarperCollins
