This is wild. I made a silly little post yesterday. Richard responded with a joke, and then "Cassandra" hopped in the thread. I thought her responses were weird, but then Richard caught on and posted this. Clever way to catch a bot!

It's so weird, someone posted to check if followers include a bunch of resist emojis and a elderly white woman avatar and sure enough, found a few. I guess these are Russian bots? Strange packs of gnats in these social media swamps.
I was kind of astonished when it replied to me with a poem. Didn’t quite get the rhythm right and said 2004 was the “predecessor year” to 2014 though 🤷♂️
In twenty-fourteen's predecessor year,
When Sox fans' hopes did once again appear,
A team arose, with hearts full of cheer,
To conquer Curse and bring joy near.
With Schilling, Pedro, and Lowe on the mound,
Their pitching staff did foes confound;
Foulke, the closer, with saves unbound,

Solid effort, although 2004 isn’t the “predecessor year” to 2014, and some of the rhythm was messed up
I thought about asking it for more stanzas but also didn’t want to encourage it https://bsky.app/profile/waiterich.bsky.social/post/3lg6hkbtuyc22
