I post this because so many refer to us as a "Christian nation." We are not. We are a nation with the Constitutionally protected freedom to worship as a Christian.
But they have been in both our money and the Pledge long enough to where most people don't know otherwise. Its been there all their lives, so they don't know any better.

In fact, the original pilgrims were fleeing religious persecution in England; and the founding fathers, hundreds of years later, drafted our constitution in such a way as to specifically separate church and state. Republicans need to turn off the Faux News and read a history book.
My daughter read the Pledge of Allegiance every morning at her high school.She decided to drop the “under God”-we are not religious and she knew it wasn’t originally written that way.the principal screamed sent to Guidance-she called a congresswoman who told her she had every right to leave it out 🙌🏻
