E-bikes are great!
Even my knackered old knees and legs can get me up the steepest hills in town with no hassle.
Just turn up the boost, middle to low gear and cycle up Park Street!
They open up the city like nothing else.

Absolute game-changer. I love my road bike for fitness, but my e-bike is just so easy to hop on for local trips, errands, shopping and visits. No special kit needed, and enough space for a whole week's shopping in those cavernous panniers. 2500 local car miles replaced so far and counting...!

My wife blankly refused to ride a bike for years, I got her an e-bike during Covid lockdown and she's never off it now. She was merrily off out to see her friends on it today.

I'm not ready to turn in my manual bike for commuting or trips to restaurants and pubs, but I would absolutely love a cargo e-bike. It would open a whole different way of cycling for me.

I have mixed feelings about them in general (I keep seeing kids in my neighborhood going as fast as cars with like no helmets on!) but just in general I think anything that can reduce overall car use/ dependence is probably a good thing overall

Yes they are , I've had one for yrs now , It's easier for me to pull my 100lb Dog everywhere now , it's been almost 30 yrs since I've driven and I don't miss it at all !!!
