Nah. There were rumblings about it for a while, especially after VF5 Ultimate Showdown dropped on PS4 being completely remade in the Dragon Engine. It wasn’t a matter of if, then. Only when.

Fun fact: In Dead or Alive Dimensions, for Nintendo 3DS, Ridley appears! That game takes the story from DoA 1 to DoA 4.
