Maybe not the exact death toll but certainly the humanitarian toll counts when the goal is to take land from the people. If anyone has had the data, wouldn't it have been Netanyahu? You know he pitched it. The ones who can never return home will tell you the feel like they might as well be dead.

Likely, yes. This also conforms to UN estimates that the current population of Gaza is no more than 2 million, which would be at least 300-400k lower than the projected population at this point.

I don't know if it's that high, but the reported number rose very quickly to about 40k Palestinians killed in the first few months, and has just stayed at that number for the last year. Clearly it's much higher than has been reported.
