I've already been doing just this. But we really need to spread this idea. I do the same with organizations. I know someone who once said they had no problem with the Proud Boys. I asked them what they believe and they sadly had NO FUCKING CLUE!
Jefferies wants to message, we’re fighting for our lives not the message. Here’s the message Dems, stop worrying about the crap you want to say and start fighting. Filibuster, shout down the crap until you get hauled off, block entrance to the capitol, find an officer of the court and arrest Musk.
Thank you Dr. Neville. Please also include alt text, especially for images like this that consist only of words, so that your message may be inclusive of people with low or no vision.
Yes! There should be a counter word or phrase used for DEI to show exactly what it is they are against. I agree that many people don't even know what it stands for and couldn't begin to tell you what being woke means either. They have absolutely no clue!
Same goes for Elon’s
“my heart goes out to you”
gesture. If that’s all it was& it can’t possibly be mistaken for anything else, then they should greet their loved ones & friends that way in public.
Tho the way these DOJ memos have started it won’t be long before it’ll be illegal to be anti-nazi 🤦🏻♂️
I was telling my son about the attempt to dismantle DEI and he incredulously responded “they want to get rid of inclusivity !?? Huh?” Yeah little man, it’s exactly how it sounds.
If you can’t properly explain what you mean then work on your delivery and don’t let an algorithm say what they think you want to say. It’s like agreeing with Trump because you are too lazy to say what you mean. Be independent, think and talk for yourself.
I'd guess most oppose equity. BC they want advancement based on merit. Well, I too would like to see a merit based system where being male and white is not considered a merit.
My son believes in all tenants of DEI but he hates bigots. I told him that's hate too. I believe some bigotry is genetic defect, and may qualify as mental illness but he didn't agree. So I called him a "bigot" bigot. He got mad so I'm not included in his circle of inclusion. He's a mom bigot now too
My problem with DEI has always been where the approah works. I've tried to engage it's proponents numerous times on the tactics and whether the assumption they made were valid.

DEI is trumps version of Hitler sowing mistrust of minorities and foreigners. It’s blatantly racist bullshit. Make people explain what’s wrong with it then shame them for being racist pieces of shit when they have no good answer.
Also, when someone derides DEI, they should be asked “Why” and “What makes a (woman), (person of color), (disabled person)unable to do this job.” Put the onus on the speaker to explain.

It's easy to disagree with those particular policies based on the data regarding their effectiveness, while still being in favour of the goal.
Musk, of course, is against both the policies and the goal.
"The war on drugs" was a collection of policies intended to reduce drug use.
Being against those policies based on their performance data did not mean you were against reducing drug use.
Did it?
You are anti- DEI?
SAY THE WORDS OUT LOUD.
"Why does the GOP hate kids?"
"Why does the GOP hate grandparents?"
"Why does the GOP hate women?"
It's the definition of "meet people where they are."
Until we're👆🏻here, no one will listen.
And they readily dance around the concept of inclusion by misrepresenting it.
These people generally *like* entitlement, despite their protestations.
