Had to complete this as really interested in results. Some salaries I see on UK job specs seem very low, considering how much experience you need to do this role.

I’d add to your post how we have weird expectations around experience. I’ve seen people who run accessibility companies say they won’t hire anyone with less than 10 years. My 5 years experience is essentially worthless but if I had 5 years JS experience I could be a senior dev. Mind boggles.

Wow. Really? I can't imagine they'll get very many applications. Accessibility roles are still super rare now, I can't imagine what it was like 10 years ago, before the EU Web Accessibility Directive and the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations!

I hope it will get better. As the need for accessibility becomes more widely understood, I think the role and the industry will mature.
