I only joined FB in May to keep in touch with ex-colleagues after retiring. I'd never had FB, and I clearly missed the boat; it's horrific. I'd have no issue deleting it. It appears I'm not that interested in what people have for dinner, adverts, or mad conspiracies made by AI. It's awful.

This is why I do not trust anyone that uses Facebook for any reason. No, "I have friends/family on there" is not acceptable. Use your phone and send a text or *gasp* go visit them.
