Val Kilmer was one of those actors that just screamed movie star energy to me. Weirdly handsome with an ability to captivating, charismatic, emotionally pulling and incredibly funny all at once. Was always a joy seeing him in movies.

Sad news. From what I've seen of him, I think he would have quite liked knowing he passed on April Fool's. He seemed the type of guy to get a little kick out of that.
I wish he had more of a chance to be Batman, seeing him in Batman Forever was incredible and considering he had big shoes to fill after Keaton, its impressive work.
I have a soft spot for batman forever, especially knowing what I know about how George Clooney treated the role. Like, sure, it's not the best batman ever... but god damn if Kilmer doesn't get everything spot on
There wasn't a more iconic movie rivalry than Iceman vs. Maverick, and Kilmer gave the role the charisma that made that hug at the end work. So glad he got to be Iceman for us one more time.
Shit, this is how I found out. Man had undeniable screen presence. His work speaks for itself, he’ll be remembered for decades to come. At least he’s not suffering from his medical issues any more. R.I.P.

Sad, I love so many of his movies
Incredible performances from Kilmer and Downey.
I’ll miss him.
"Look in the dictionary and what do you see next to idiot"
"A picture of me"
"No. The definition of idiot, you idiot"
Perry: "Jesus. Look up "idiot" in the dictionary. You know what you'll find?"
Harry: "A picture of me?"
Perry: "No! The definition of the word idiot, which you fucking are!"
