this is utterly amazing, better than any monster hunter story to date. but it would never get greenlit without a slots or pachinko-like gambling mechanic. I'm sure he can come up with a way to make it specifically resemble some form of self inflicted injury, it practically writes itself.

i love monhun but undeniably it is extremely formulaic and a game thats actually more interesting for once would be sick especially something as wild as this
feel like the gameplay of monhun to this day is still mostly "simulator" so a story and narrative and restrictions would be pretty cool
