Your original statement said that the books your daughter purchased were banned but now you say they are available for purchase.

Different towns, states will have different banned book lists too. It’s crazy.

Yes that is crazy. I wonder if a person can be prosecuted for taking a banned book over state lines. I think the last book they tried to ban here in Australia was “Lady Chatterley’s Lover” back in the 1960s.

No the books are banned in school and sometimes the local libraries won’t carry them

Banned books are removed from public and private school libraries, local town, city libraries etc. When I was in school we had required reading, A Wrinkle in Time, Lord of the Flies etc.. now some schools refuse to teach those books or carry them
