I grew up in southern WV -- ie coal country. I still can't believe how so many people there don't see how condescending this asshole is; all while selling them on the idea that the Dems are "elitist."

Why should a coal miner pay for PBS? Maybe so the coal miner's children will be able to get intelligent enough so that they can avoid ending up working in the coal mines next to him!

May I add- also so that there's ONE tv outlet that's still beholden to tell the truth. PBS has had board members who wanted to take it private- they get almost no money from the gov.
But we've convinced them to stay public
They have too many corporate sponsors- but hopefully, we'll fix that
