In a system where our checks and balances are acting appropriately, no I do not think that the minority part should be able to lock up an entire branch. As that is not the case what is happening today is okay even if overall I disagree with the practice - ThreadSky

It's a cascading effect from McConnell essentially breaking the SCOTUS appointments, it's a loaded court. The SCOTUS ruling giving unlimited power to the executive was one of the greatest breaches of constitutional balance in our history

They didn't block nearly as many justices, again it says more times than in HISTORY in just 4 years. I mean you might be fine with it because your side did it but I don't think weird loopholes should be the norm.

Well I'd assume you lean conservative since you pointed to a liberal supreme court. I also think tax law should be clearer. More transparency and efficiency is a good thing to ask for. I don't really understand your argument for the fillibuster though.
