I was 90% of the way done switching my email to a Swiss provider this morning when I realized my MX records had insanely long TTLs. So I ended up quickly reverting everything so I could change the TTLs and effect/test the cutover much more quickly later this week. - ThreadSky

@phillycodehound I was inches away from going with them 2 weeks ago …. But when they said it would take over 12 hours for a password reset ‘for security reasons’ I quickly ruled them out.

@rickf It was enough for me to totally get off it. Didn't feel like supporting such a company. Was a paying a bunch as a legacy user and was on there for years since they were in BETA. Onward and upward for me.

@rickf Another thing against https://mastodon.social/@startmail which I know is a security feature. Is that they MAKE you log out max every 24 hrs. Super annoying.
