not to mention his speech check on dent... managing to convince a guy that it's not your fault that you killed his wife on purpose... it's like an obsidian game...
basically the central issue of the flick is that heath ledger is too good for it... he upstages everybody to the point where batman is practically a secondary character. when he is not on screen it's easier to notice how messy the script is
they basically had to make the third movie entirely a sequel to the first movie as a way to avoid addressing the heath ledger shaped hole in the middle of it all
i love that the joker just convinces harvey to become a theatrical serial killer in one conversation. it would make more sense in a really really stupid cartoon but nolan shoots everything like its HEAT so it just makes harvey look really stupid
