I don't really believe in the feasibility of some kind of European peacekeeping force in Ukraine. It's hard to imagine how you could separate the two most powerful armies in Europe after three years of fierce fighting, without a force stronger than both of them.

But now UK says no to the ceasefire because they say it will allow russian troops to regroup.
They either see it as too big a risk of war, or they think a UK/France presence is not serious enough to deter future invasions (which I believe too)

Cease fire is everyone's idea but the problem is the terms of the cf
Reasonable people want security guarantees so that Russia does not go "imma break the cf" two weeks after.
