If you have to have one. Buy a real one with roots on, leave it in the pot or plant it in the ground, decorate it, let it grow, repeat. 🌲🎄🌲

I'd always thought it wasn't a bad thing having a real tree, especially if bought locally as suggested in the article. They capture carbon when growing and can be sensibly disposed of (they get fed to alpacas near where I live). I have thay feeling im missing something...
The craze for a Christmas tree is rather insane. The craze doesn't end in the higher latitudes. Real fir trees are sold in Singapore, and they have to be flown down from Canada or Norway or wherever they actually grow.
There is 2 very simple solutions: Don't buy them. If you must, buy it with roots and plant afterwards. If you live in a city, then buy a reusable one. Simple as that. Anything else, it is total waste non-sense. (And Santa is not real 😂)
