And that’s why the rich should be taxed more. Not because we need their money to pay for government spending: we don’t, because taxes don’t pay for government spending.
If we want to prevent the rich from having too much influence on politics, a media ownership law is needed. Only pure publishers, otherwise Tv and newspapers will serve the interests of the rich owners.
Look at the United States where the richest man in the world just purchased a Presidency. Now he has his eyes on Germany and the UK (Tommy Robinson). If you think it is bad now, hold Elon’s beer!
