These prices - excepting the Mojito mocktail - are ridiculous, generally higher than perfectly acceptable alcoholic equivalents, and especially as duty on most of these will be either negligible or non-existent. There are loads of inexpensive/affordable alternatives...
There’s some very good alcohol free flavoured ciders too, Kopperberg etc.
Sadly the packaging is so similar I got served the regular one by mistake in a pub once.
A lot of us in the sober community avoid them. They can be a gateway back to alcohol. And they aren’t regulated, so one might have 10 mg of CBD and another 25 mg. Too much label reading!
I don’t drink caffeine from the evening onwards and I go to pubs, I don’t think coffee or cola are the answer.
Also don’t really see a Britvic as a beer substitute.
Must be difficult. I actually like the stuff, I’ve never been one to drink to get drunk.
I drink real ale when I can, and go to a pub quiz regularly.
But thanks to the AF options there are now I can have something I like that doesn’t contain alcohol if I want to.
This low alcohol rubbish costs more than normal alcoholic beverages.
Want low alcohol and save money?
Easy:
Half fill your glass with normal wine and top it with water.
Athletic Brewing Co. Run Wild IPA is quite tasty, (0.5%, Ve) and can usually be picked up ‘on offer’ at £4 for 4x330ml. Low / no alcohol drinks are a good way of reducing overall alcohol intake - but need to be at a much lower cost in the pub.

Sam’s Brown Ale (Sam Smiths brewery)
Apart from those not had a decent IPA or any other ale that’s alcohol-free and I’ve tried several, the Sam Smiths actually tastes like Brown Ale.
