I just don't think we need him anymore. Bond worked in the backdrop of the cold war. technological advancement and shadowy espionage thrillers. Laser watches and rocket cars aren't interesting. Billionaire CEO villains are real, Bond is not.

Frankly, He's just not fun anymore.
