Civilization is defined by how a society treats its most vulnerable citizens. I heard that in from a man giving a convocation speech, and it really stuck with me.
The US is a first world country with a third world health system. And under Trump it will get even worse - cancellation of health schemes, vaccine programs, price caps etc.
I lost my best friend to AIDS in 1994. This is the cruelest way to kill off a part of the population, and it’s exactly why Reagan did it in the 80’s. I am sickened.
