Anyone who went to football matches in the 80s remembers where they were when they heard about Bradford
The main stand of my club, Norwich City, burnt down shortly afterwards. Thankfully during the night. Electrical fault
And then Hillsborough…
Football grounds in the 80s were death traps. RIP

I can’t believe it’s 40 years since I stood on the corner of our street with my toddler daughter waiting for my husband to come home safe. Thankfully he did although forever scarred by what he witnessed. Many didn’t come home. RIP
