There was never a ban. Police could enter the building for legitimate purposes (investigations, emergencies, etc.) They just couldn't station a cop in a school. #bcpoli #yyj

Supposedly left-center NDP has just fired the *entire* Victoria school board in order to reverse the ban on cops in schools.
The democratically elected school board was supported by Victoria Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils to keep cops out of schools.
