Glad the kiseki series now places marks where the next part of the story continues and confirmations, so you can avoid it like the plague until you've explored everything else
Let's grab all these quests and be super efficient ...
... Meanwhile, you have double backed over the same ground countless times and even that rock is starting to get suspicious you, the hero of this adventure, know WTF you are doing.
I literally uninstalled Boomtown because of this, because not only did I not expect it, but it failed my side quest and left a big glaring reminder I failed it in the quest log lol. No thanks.
Played some games where they give you side quests that require you to be like level 40 at the start of the game, but by the time you have reached the 40s and are that far in the nain story your locked out of the content for those side quests.
This is why I almost always turn on navigation assistance especially on a second playthrough, if I know where Iβm supposed to go, then I can freely explore everywhere else knowing Iβm not gonna miss something
Two paths diverged in a dungeon and I took the one that didn't seem to lead to the objective because I've played 10,000 hours and I know that's where the good stuff is hiding.
Meanwhile I'm trying to loot every single dead guy in red dead 2 and repeatedly "failing" the objective. Wait a damn second Sadie, Arthur needs a new Arabian horse.
How about ending up in a Dungeon PUG that wants to speed run and you're being dragged through kicking and screaming because you don't have time to loot the chests and bags laying around.
And then it locks you in a path forward and you may never get to go back and explore the other place thus losing out on the potential loot forever π
Happen to me Iβm ghost of Tsushima. I was exploring around and didnβt notice I was heading to the main quest when all of a sudden the screen goes black and the title comes in.
You would think there would be some sort of indicator solution for this by now. As much as we've all done it just to try and quick reload the moment it happens π
Well there is. A lot of games I've played will say 'if you proceed, you will be unable to play co-op or start any other missions for a while. Is that okay?'
That's more like the point of no return those are great. However that doesn't stop you from doing it all the other times throughout the game. Since those typically are only right before the final mission etc...
For hoyo games at least, I've seen them at the start of each part of a quest line pretty often these past few years. They HATE the idea that you'll multitask through stuff hahaha
Those are the ones I don't consider "true gamers". I once worked with a girl whose husband got angry with her for breaking their Xbox. She said that a message had come up on it about "Microsoft" and he said, "Why would it say Microsoft? It's an Xbox!" I started laughing when she told me. TBC
When she found out why she couldn't wait to go home and inform her "gamer" husband that Xbox is made my Microsoft. He didn't like being humiliated by me. A year or so later he had to come work with us. He tried to convince me that I could turn my PS3 into a PS4 with a certain DVD.
I tried to explain to him that you can't change hardware into something else with software but it was going completely over his head. He had no understanding of what I was talking about. Plus he was getting angry that I wasn't falling for his trap. He wanted me to brick my PS3.
He was hoping I was a dumb girl and was getting upset that I built my own gaming PCs for years so I was talking way over his head. He is a Trump supporter. I am not. It's anecdotal, but that is the type of "gamer" that supports Trump here. I am aware it could be different elsewhere.
And then you canβt save til the mission is complete so youβre literally stuck for an unknown amount of time when you probably needed to go to bed π

That's not scary at all..........
... Meanwhile, you have double backed over the same ground countless times and even that rock is starting to get suspicious you, the hero of this adventure, know WTF you are doing.
And then I end up with like 4 other objectives after that because I get sidetracked with other things
Like why?!
If there's a corner, it will not go untouched
Accidentally went into the Sanctum, where Calamity Ganon was, and activated the final boss battles. Next thing I knew, the credits were rolling.
the bile titan behind me:

Max Payne 3 and its damn golden gun collectibles
I started to do the same in Skyrim, but at about 35 hours went back to the main mission after crafting a few hundred iron daggers.

I know to stay absolutely clear of that area π€£
