It does, but they're not connected any more than finding out what he had for breakfast or what album he last listened to. Sapiens is one of the most important books ever written and Nexus is hot on its heels. Harari should be required reading in all universities.

The guy is entitled as they come. His aunt is a Maryland legislator, his parents own 2 high end golf courses, he was valedictorian of his class in the best prep school in Baltimore and an Ivy League college. I'm fascinated to find out how he got from there to where he is.

If you read more about his book discussion group with this bunch, it was reportedly going well until he had them reading the Unabomber's Manifesto, then the group fell apart. He also left a four star review for the Manifesto and added thoughts that violence could be necessary when other means fail.
