I do disagree with you this time. If you walk the street with a toy that looks like a real gun, a toy you can use to rob a store or threaten people, you better presume it's real.

'Cleared' them. If this is going to happen then the sale of such toys should be banned completely. Traumatized children are the result, with a perfectly legal toy. I personally never gave them to our children but many others have played with such toys over generations.

You are just race baiting. Skin colour was irrelevant. Hackney a known trouble spot for gang related incidents and several reports of someone with a gun. The response was entirely proportionate to protect the public until the absence of any threat was established. Be better.

Humans judge based on past experience.
If I see a gipsy(okay okay roma ;) boy around my house in Bulgaria, I would immediately think hes trying to steal something.
