It's exactly the same with media and shark attacks. Once one story goes viral, they report every shark attack that happens during a summer, giving the false sense that they are common and increasing.
I think its somewhat difficult to pin this on trump (at least this term). I am much more willing to place blame on the airlines being strapped for money and cutting costs all over leading to compounding issues that just happen to manifest now
Are we really doing multiple plane crashes a week now?

Not quite there yet, but the cess pit (Don the Con, X-man et al) is working on it.
Once they have fired more safety personell in aviation, then travelling by aircraft will be a really high risk adventure.
If you watch the video, it does not appear this crash had anything to do with the FAA, air traffic control or anything like that. Conflating issues doesn't do anyone any good.
Yeah... I know people like to tout that 'cars have more fatalities/mile than planes' but thats including drunk driving, young drivers, and old cars, driving at night, etc. Seems like responsible sober drivers with modern safe cars during the day must approach the safety of planes these days
So far, it’s 13 this year, which doesn’t seem like much compared to 2022–2023. However, fatalities are definitely spiking, with the Potomac accident alone claiming 67 lives. I wouldn’t draw conclusions just yet, but that’s the impression so far.
Yeah, though that article specifically states that its combined private and commercial aviation. Looking specifically at commercial aviation in the US, this does seem to be above rate per this dashboard: https://www.iata.org/safetyreport-dashboard
That what I hope, but I feel like theres a baseline frequency increase even given that bias, whens the last time we had >=67 people die in a commercial airliner in the united states? Or an airplane crash land and roll flaming down the runway? (the arizona thing probably happens all the time tho)
remember, last year, there was a new incident with Boeing planes everyday?
These things happen often enough that they can dominate the media cycle, but they usually don’t.
Must be a slow news month
Because they have the best non-smart mediocre team ever put together in the history of the world! Nobody less smarter than these pack of merry unnecessary thieves!

The media is just focusing on them right now.
