Very well stated in the Editorial:
...."we need unity and support for each other now. Regardless of style and tactics, everyone in the American scientific community must hold to the principles of independence, peer evaluation, and inclusion. We will not turn our backs on them now."
Very nice read, one thing to add: If we continue to use the platforms owned by the people associated with this administration, we are just enriching them. Twitter/X especially is a very toxic place now for discussion, please encourage more people to communicate here!
The myth that science isn't political is persistent, but wrong. Science and society are a coproduction.
