I was first introduced to lyrical wordsmithery of Zora Neale Hurston in my American Lit classes at uni and the way I would gasp aloud at the absolute beauty in her words - even when she wrote the most heart wrenching scenes. She was truly a powerful woman. #BlackHistoryMonth #ZoraNealeHurston
